Curtain Room Dividers

Alright people, 'Glitter Thursday' is taking a back seat today as I need to post on a very important topic this week: Curtains used for room division. I know, never has a blog topic been so exciting, please contain yourselves and try not to jump through your computer screen in an effort to hug me. Although how cool would it be if that were possible? Hugs are great. I digress...

So here's the thing, I have this awkward nook that stares you right in the eyeball when you first walk into my apartment. This nook contains the largest, most heinous heating unit you've ever seen as well as a few square feet of space that I'd like to use for storage. I figure since the ugly heating unit can't be covered up completely, Ill hang some pretty curtains around the whole deal and create a walk-in closet so to speak. Below I've posted some of my favorite inspiration... what do my hundreds of readers think? Any other ideas on how to conceal this space?

Glitter Thursday- Society 6, Get in my Life...

 I've been feeling anything but glittery lately. Upon moving into the new place, I came down with perhaps the worst cold I've had since elementary school. Simply put, the thing took me out at the knees. Any grand ideas of painting and decorating followed by cute pizza outings in the north end were completely concealed by a  giant stack of tissues in my trash can. 

The good news is, Society6.com is still fab even when I am not. Society 6 is my go-to site for great artwork and amazing iphone covers. As I laid depressingly in my sick bed one day, I typed the word "glitter" into their search engine, and I was  not at all dissapointed with the results. Here are the pieces currently sitting in my shopping cart, waiting for me to pull the trigger...

My New Pad-Week 1

Somehow I finished packing and survived the (miserable) move to my  little 3rd floor walk-up in the North End last Saturday. Alas, upon my arrival, NONE of the cleaning or repairs that were supposed to take place had happened, so I had to put off any hope of painting for a week or two. Oh well, in the meantime, no shame in daydreaming about interiors that are completely out of my price range, eh? Per usual, I took to the interwebs and have shared some of my studio apartment decor inspiration below.
